About Me
I was born in Mountain Home, Idaho, in March of 1980. I spent six years on a beautiful 250 acre farm in Dayton, Washington, and the next twenty in the Boise, Idaho, area. I am currently located in Warren, Maine.
My “real life” goal is to become a novelist and to write Speculative Fiction. I began writing when I was eleven and knew that it was what I wanted. I have a Bachelors of Arts in Writing from Boise State University. I began my current book when I was sixteen, and have spent the years since honing my craft. Sadly, you can’t get experience without experience, and several versions – and a thousand discarded pages – later, I’m plugging away at the final incarnation.
Cardigans are my other love, and Golem was the first object of my affection. I fell for his dark blue color and bright points the day he was born. GoGo turned out to be a perfect first show dog, though he certainly spoiled me. He finished quickly, and I was hooked.
I dabble in photography and art, and love music, nature, and science. I have worked in the restaurant industry since 1999.
